Austin Green is a native of Whitefish, Montana, and the managing editor of the Montana Journalism Review. He also serves as a news editor at the University of Montana’s student-run newspaper, the Montana Kaimin. He recently completed a summer internship at the Salt Lake Tribune, and his work has been featured on the front page of CNN.com. Cheyenne Turcotte is a University of Montana senior studying journalism and anthropology. She hopes this combination will allow her to delve even deeper into the lives of her subjects. Though she has an abiding love of long-form written journalism, she often finds herself behind the lens of a camera, never underestimating the power of strong visuals. Hesitant to remain in one place for too long, she will spend her summer interning for the Cape Chameleon, a quarterly publication based out of Cape Town, South Africa. |

Allison Bye is originally from Sunburst, Montana, and will graduate from the University of Montana’s School of Journalism in May 2014. She is also a Presidential Leadership Scholar and a member of the Davidson Honors College. She serves as copy chief and a designer at the Montana Kaimin, UM’s student-run newspaper, and was also editor and a reporter for the School of Journalism’s 2013 Native News Project. Jackson Bolstad is a Montana resident from Homestead, a small town in the northeast corner of the state. A senior at the University of Montana, he is serving as a news editor for the Montana Kaimin, UM’s student-run newspaper. In spring 2013, he won the Jeff Cole Memorial Scholarship for professional promise in journalism. His work has been featured in the New York Times, the Rapid City Journal, and the Williston Herald. Ketti Wilhelm is originally from Polebridge, Montana. She is a recipient of a Presidential Leadership Scholarship and an avid traveler, having visited 15 countries during her four years of college. She speaks fluent Spanish and studied French and Arabic before graduating in December 2013 with a degree in journalism and a minor in international development studies. Professionally, she wants to focus on politics, international relations, and social and economic justice. Tom Kuglin is a native of Helena, Montana, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Montana with a degree in English literature. He is pursuing a master’s degree in environmental science and natural resource journalism focusing on wildlife and natural resource issues. His work has appeared in the Montana Sporting Journal, the Montana Journalism Review, Earth Island Journal, and the Environmental News Network. |

Alexander Deedy is from Wasilla, Alaska. Since moving south, he studies wildlife biology and journalism when on campus and can be found skiing, hiking, or playing any number of sports off campus. After spending a semester abroad in Tasmania during his junior year, he interned for Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Bugle Magazine and is now a reporter at the Kaimin. Sarah Hopkins is a native of Southlake, Texas. She is an avid outdoorswoman, runner, and equestrian. Next year, she will graduate with degrees in finance and political science. Sarah works as an advertising representative for the Montana Kaimin, the University of Montana’s student-run newspaper. This summer she interned at the U.S Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., and hopes to return upon graduation. |

Brett Berntsen grew up along the Pacific Northwest coast before entering the School of Journalism at the University of Montana. He hopes to pursue a career in writing from a platform well poised to impact the masses. His work has appeared on UM’s college radio station and its student-run newspaper, as well as the local daily, the Missoulian. After graduating with a degree in journalism and a minor in anthropology, he wants to work as a foreign correspondent focusing on stories that connect the world. |

Caitlin Avey is a Montana native from Big Timber, a small town at the base of the Crazy Mountains. She spent the beginning of her college career in Jamestown, North Dakota, where she worked as the chief photographer for the college paper, The Collegian. With her Montana roots and a love for the outdoors in her blood, she made her way to Missoula. She is still new to the journalism world, but she’s been a storyteller from day one. After graduation in the spring of 2014, she hopes to travel, share her wit, and tell the world’s stories. |

Clancy Crismore is a native of Libby, Montana, and a senior at the University of Montana. He is enrolled at the School of Journalism. He recently completed an internship with the Missoulian and hopes that his education will make him a successful writer. |

Conrad Scheid is an Oregon native, transplanted from the verdant green of the Willamette Valley to the dusty plains off the eastern slopes of the Cascades. Growing up alongside the Afghan and Iraq wars, he hopes to combine his journalism and Arabic education into a viable career working for radio and print outfits in the Middle East. He is currently a co-host and producer for Word of Mouth, a weekly radio show that features stories from the Five Valley region. Rory Guilfoy is a Plymouth, Massachusetts, native and will graduate from the University of Montana School of Journalism in the spring of 2014. A veteran, he found his interest in journalism while international affairs reporter Nir Rosen was imbedded with his platoon in Baghdad during the surge in 2007. After graduating, he plans to return to the Middle East as a reporter. |

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Eben Wragge-Keller is really a skinny, pasty, Clark Kent in disguise. When he’s not out fighting crime and saving damsels in distress, he is the arts and culture editor for the Montana Kaimin, the University of Montana’s student-run newspaper. Though he has won several journalism scholarships through his years pretending to be a 24-year-old student, his greatest accomplishment is dousing Richard Pryor after he famously lit himself on fire, thereby saving one of the greatest comedy legends of all time. Laura Wilson was born and raised in Scotland. She moved to California in 2005, and chose to transfer to Montana her sophomore year because it reminded her a lot more of where she grew up. She is a senior at the University of Montana School of Journalism. This past summer she interned at The Collective Magazine in Sydney, Australia. Her work has appeared in two of its issues. She will graduate with a degree in journalism in the spring of 2014. |

Matt Hudson hails from Great Falls, Montana, where he grew up throwing rocks into the Missouri River. He is a senior at the University of Montana and reports for the arts and culture section of the Montana Kaimin. Hunter D’Antuono is a senior photojournalism student at the University of Montana, where he serves as a photo-video editor on the Montana Kaimin. Though born in Baltimore, Maryland, he has spent most of his life in the rural, mountainous lands of Colorado and Montana. His photographic interests sparked in middle school when his younger sister received a camera for Christmas, which he “borrowed” regularly until he could afford his own. His photography and multimedia has appeared in the Missoulian, Native News, and Montana Outdoors, with his wildfire footage to appear in a Showtime TV documentary. Tommy Martino was born in the Chicagoland area and is a senior in the University of Montana School of Journalism. He has had a passion for photography for nearly eight years. He hopes to one day be a photographer for an NBA team, but he changes his mind everyday regarding which route he wants to take his professional career. Tommy has worked for the Montana Kaimin and the Missoula Independent as staff photographers. He has also shot hundreds of concerts, professional sporting events, and just about anything that he finds visually appealing. |

Henriette Löwisch started out as an intern for a German women’s magazine what seems like a zillion years ago. She returned to magazine publishing via a professorship at the University of Montana School of Journalism and has served as editor-in-chief of Montana Journalism Review since 2012.
